Historical place : keraton Jogjakarta

Good morning ladies and gentlemen. Today we will do some heritage tour in this city. We will visit one of historical place in Jogjakarta. You know that in Jogjakarta there are historical place such as Prambanan temple, Borobudur temple, Keraton Jogjakarta and so on. All of that place are a nice place and has an interesting history. But, today we are going to visit Keraton Jogjakarta.
Okay ladies and gentlemen, Keraton Jogjakarta is not only home to the king and his family, but also becomes the flame guard of Javanese culture. In this place you can learn from seeing directly about culture still preserved in the pace development of the world.
Keraton kesultanan Jogjakarta Hadiningrat or now better known by the name Keraton Jogjakarta is the center of Javanese culture that located in the special region Jogjakarta (DIY). Keraton Jogjakarta was built by pangeran Mangkubumi / prince Mangkubumi in 1755, several mount after the signing of the agreement giyanti . Banyan forest ( hutan beringin ) was chosen as the place for building the palace because the land was between two rivers that were considered good and protected from possible flooding. Although already hundreds of years old and were damaged by the massive earthquake in 1867, Keraton Jogjakarta building still stand firmly and well maintained.
Well, visiting this place will provide both valuable and memorable experience. The palace becomes the center of an imaginary line connecting between Parangritis beach and mount Merapi and it has two doors. The first is in Tepas Keprajuritan (in front of north town square) and the second in Tepas Tourism (Regol Keben).
There are many things that can be seen in this place, like the activity of servants here. Collections are kept in glass boxes that are spread various rooms ranging from ceramics and glassware, weapons, photographs, miniatures and replicas, to various kinds of batik and its diorama of the making process. Furthermore, you can also enjoy the art performance with different schedules each day. Because today is Tuesday wage, we can watch Jemparingan, it is conducted for the heritage of Sri Sultan HB X. It will be unique, because you will wear Javanese traditional clothing and archery in a sitting position.
